Engineered in Wollaston. Our new collaboration with Daiki Suzuki’s label pays tribute to the timeless manufacturing techniques of our original factory. Sticking rigidly by the utilitarian principles that bond the two brands together, the shoes are partially inspired by the first pair of DM’s Suzuki ever encountered, with an ‘overly engineered’ asymmetric lace system that stretches down one side of the shoe. They’re built from black Smooth leather or milkshake Hi Suede – two robust, versatile shades equally at home in a work or downtime uniform. Signature DM’s markings, yellow welt stitching and twin scripted heel loops are all here alongside elevated details: a silver-foiled sock liner and a secondary pair of two-tone laces you can wear your way.
- Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility
- Hi Suede is a classic, lightweight, water resistant suede. Clean it with our Suede Cleaner
- A pillar of DM’s construction. Our Original and most recognisable sole. A height of 1.25″/3.17cm — marked by traditional DMS tread pattern that’s unique to Dr. Martens. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability
- Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
- Comes with two sets of laces: tonal and hiker-style yellow
